Steltzner

Steltzner Vineyards is located 7 miles north of the town of Napa in the heart of a meso-climate created by the imposing peaks and ridges of the Vaca Range. This unique ring of sun-drenched hills open to the South, tempered by breezes from the San Pablo Bay, is the Stag’s Leap district. Richard Steltzner established his first Stag’s Leap District vineyards in 1965 and his first commercial release was in 1977. The Steltzner family established their facility in 1983 with a 3,000 case capacity and expanded in 1989 with a 710 foot underground storage tunnel, which allowed increased volume as well as enhancing the quality and characteristics of wine storage.
