Orin Swift Cellars
Owner and winemaker Dave Phinney is well know in Napa circles as a talented winemaker, consulting for a number of Napa’s finest wineries. unching Orin Swift Cellars in 2002 the name is a play on Dave’s family name, his father’s first name and his mother maiden name. Orin Swift quickly received recognition when the 2003 Prisoner release was named #38 of the top 100 wines in 2005 by Wine Spectator, this was quickly followed up in 2007 with the 2005 Prisoner release being rated #17 of the top 100 wines in 2007.
