Dutch Bill Creek Winery
The name pays tribute to William “Dutch Bill” Howard a hardheaded, unorthodox character who originally settled in this area in the late-1800s. Heintz Ranch is located in the hills of Occidental, California. The 100-year old Heintz ranch is spread within three wine appellations; owned and operated by third generation farmer Charlie Heintz. This vineyard is best know for providing fruit to the Rock Star wine makers of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. On his third vintage, Charlie has teamed up with winemaker Kevin Kelly to craft elegant Chardonnays and Pinots from this amazing vineyard. One to Watch!
